how do i convince the dwarven jeweler to be friendly toward me again? i only have a charm skill of 1;and,that doesn't seem to work. i need him to make a copy of the elven necklace for me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

Does his trade window still open? If so, then give him stuff for free... did you rob him???

Please tell me if his attitude has changed by a small percentage. You have to be patient - try one transaction = close the window by saying politely Farewell and look if the amount has changed. Maybe buying his stuff for far more than it's worth could help.

Charm, as in charm weapon, or charm enemies? Neither one influences what NPCs think about you. Essentially, you need to bribe the guy into liking you again, which can get pretty expensive. I'd recommend reloading back before you ripped Elmer off, get the picture of the amulet, have him make it for you, THEN rob/kill him.

I noticed that if you piss off any dwarves, all dwarves hate you. I didn't realize Dwarves were telepathic, and shared a hive intelligence.

Not just dwarves. Cats, dogs, and others in the game are the same way.
