Nope. I can only either do it with her or tell her to wait.

yes indeed, that's a very fun, and funny little side quest. initially I thought it was the broken bridge toll troll on the other side; then read through what Fumble had to say and thought of Ruby's "specialty"...:)

I talked to Rudy (and had story time) and talked to the troll, but never figured out any clues to put the two together. Ended up being one of my many unsolved quests.
