Is it really necessary to have fireballs sounding so loud and causing so much screen vibration?

It's giving me a headache.

Hehe actually I slightly agree with this - mostly from the trap/puzzle type areas, which when you're in the vicinity but not too close have the odd habit of making the camera 'tick' between two different angles.

When cast in combat I don't find them so annoying, however when they are used in traps and there is an explosion every 1-2 second it quite fast gets really annoying.

I like them nice and bright. Not sure about traps. Right now I just want them to fix the quest bugs and stuff.

Yes it's traps etc: that are painful, the fireball spells are fine.

Yeah there was one place where I couldn't figure out how to turn the trap off so I eventually just started to avoid the area so I wouldn't have to deal with the fireball fallout.
