Whiskey, why is your level so low, do you have a lot of quests to solve yet?

I do have quite a few to do !!

But I'm doing a lot of screen clearance to get experience and gain strength!!

I hate rushing up to a certain stage, only to find out that my character is not tooled-up or strong enough to deal with all eventualities.

It is the cautious Irish nature I guess <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

(St Patricks Day on Monday 17/3/03 !!)

It is good to discuss any problems I encounter though !!

Isn't that the day everybody wheres green clothing, and you color the river green?

I always wandered what the meaning /history of this festivity was?

I played Male Warrior, then Female Wizard, then Male Warrior again.

First time through, it was pretty hard as I didn't get any hints from the forums at all (Hate doing that on a first effort) and my character got battered a lot before ultimate victory.

I did discover my now-famous Invisibility/Warrior's Swing combo late in the game though, so that was a plus <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

My Sorceress was obviously a lot tougher, as I had more experience playing the game. She had a couple of problem areas, but snuffed out the DOL with no problems whatsoever.

My second male warrior was a tank. Just wandered through everything and cut it down to size. Even Josie. He did have more trouble with the DOL though, for some reason...

I see no point in playing the Survivor class, as the other classes need all the good Survivor abilities anyway in order to win the game. The Survivor seems to offer no real advantages as a class.

I played <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> only once: As a male Survivor.

It is likely that I'll play additional characters in the future.
