The Original Game worked fine...

Update Microsoft Visual C++. If you're using the Steam version, the redistributable files are included in the install folder "...\SteamApps\common\Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition\_CommonRedist".

I have tried that already... I ran vcredist_x64.exe from the steam location and istalled it but the same error still appears...

Any other suggestions?

Try installing this one.

Reboot your system after.
