Something i would like to see in Beyond Divinity is some kind of charms than would ADD an attack/defense bonus to your weapon(Charms only available to be put on WEAPONS) e.x. give Freeze bonus(4),+10% of weapon's damage,magic damage,+5% stun hit,1% death strike!

OR EVEN add a skill bonus,Magical might +1,meteorstrike +1 Or recovery charm(Adding the charm adds 10% faster stamina/mana/health/hero movement speed,attack speed)

Also i would love to see different reactions to weapons when they have something special(e.x. if a weapon has Freeze bonus,the weapon should be like frozen,blue crystal,it isn't necessary than the whole weapon is like than,maybe some parts of it could be like this!
e.x. Fire bonus add a fire animation to the weapon)

If i'm not wrong i remember all this in DIABLO II

Also i would love to see supportive summoned creatures,e.x. Mage healing you,or cursing the enemies,or shooting fireballs!

Another idea would be to have a small flying creature that will gather the gold that is on the ground for you(Ok this isn't much of a use,but could save you some time...)

This is what I get from answering the last questions first. Those skills would make very good charms! Perhaps give the charms different effects on different pieces of equipment (like Diablo II). Deathblow on a weapon could be Spell Shield on armour or Spiritual Resistance on a Helm. The only thing is that a charm with a skill on it would cost an absolut fortune, I'm thinking skip Platinum and go straight for Diamond. Although with the new skill system, you would be able to make smaller skill changes...

Those are some good ideas. I particularly like the recovery charms! With the skills, I think I'd prefer skill books.

Speaking of which, I wonder how skill books work with the new skill system? Will they give us skill points specific to a skill group, or will it distribute some randomly?

That would be cool, and a lot more possible now with 3D animations! I remember they had specific attack animations in Divine Divinity. I particularly liked the fire effect. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

In Dungeon Siege, there is a spell, "Summon Helper" - it summons a companion that does nothing but pick up items on the battlefield and place them in your inventory(s).
