Anyone noticed that blunt weapons are near to non- existent in the game?
It seems that there are no 2H blunt weapons in the game, and the times i saw 1H maces drop in my play through so far was around 1-2 times (unique one from ghoul at the lighthouse, and some random rare).
You can't even craft a blunt weapon.
Considering there is even a talent for them, anaconda, why are blunt weapons are extremely rare to stumble upon?

Two-handed blunt weapons start showing up really late in the game, but they exist. I don't know why they are so rare, though.

Anakonda is intresting but weak talent. As far as I see, the game is more and more focus on casters. Just compare number of skills for Strenghts based charater (16 skills available) and Int based char - 82 skills !!!!

So there is clearly someone over biased towards the mages. Strenght and fighters are forgotten.

I would like to crush to pieces my enemies too.
Also I would like to see a most classic combat style spear and shield.

I expected there to be a craftable blunt weapon for the EE-version, and picked anaconda because of that naive thought. The club you get at the lighthouse is the only one I've gotten. And that is a lvl 5 weapon and I'm now at lvl 13, looking at different swords instead - which there are an abundance of.

Sadly, unless you desperately need crushing damage, it still doesn't stack up against a crafted axe of the same level even with the talent. Nails and moonstone (for damage upgrade) are also both exceptionally rare, nails being far more useful for fortifying your boots anyway.

Spears and Swords both have their uses. Swords have a higher minimum damage and spears have longer range (which is especially good for whirlwind attack), but nail clubs do less minimum, less maximum, and have no higher range or any other special property compared to any other 1hander, except the fact that they do crushing damage.
