It took a long time to get a Linux version of this game out, but you guys did it right. I've been playing some old-school-ish RPGs lately that use Unity, and it really isn't a very engine. The Shadowrun games and Pillars of Eternity have some significant bugs and performance problems. I haven't played much of Wastelands 2, but it does have a fair bit tearing even with VSync and is unreasonably slow, even without VSync or any other graphics niceties.

So yeah, thanks for putting up with our complaints and doing this game right.

That is probably why inXile is using the Unreal 4 engine for the upcoming Bard's Tale IV...;)

Unity is a budget engine, pretty much.



I'm never wrong about anything, and so if you see an error in any of my posts you will know immediately that I did not write it...;)

At least, Unity games run perfectly on mesa, this one is not, so I doubt it's done right.
