Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Help for a Noob

I'm getting destroyed left and right in Fort Joy. I find it pretty difficult to kill any enemies numbering more than 2. Maybe it's my lack of armor on anyone or maybe I'm suppose to avoid scenarios that lead to combat in Fort Joy. Can anyone give me some advice? What quests I should do at low levels?

Are you playing in explorer mode? If not, switch to EM

I had the same problem (also not playing explorer mode). I thought "explorer mode" was supposed to be easy? The difficulty on the classic mode is brutal at the beginning when you have no armour and are often facing mobs significantly above your level.

Once you have some decent armour, the difficulty definitely starts feeling much more reasonable.
