Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General Multiplayer?

It's been so long since I've visited the Larian forums. Didn't even know that they changed RiftRunner to Beyond Divinity until about 5 mins ago. Anyway, I checked the FAQs and didn't see anything about multiplayer capabilities. Am I to assume there are none?

Anyway, I can't imagin how multiplay would fit into a game like this. I loved DD and I am definately going to buy BD regardless of multiplay.

BD will be single, but Divinity 2 is planned to be MP. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

I for one am glad it is not a multi-player game. I play games to relax and have fun. I do not consider dealing with personality conflicts, arguments, and emotionally challenged individuals relaxing or fun.

Here is my opinion:
single player good + multiplayer bad = good
single player bad + multiplayer good = bad
single player good + multiplayer good = best

Iwould vote for: I see multiplayer as an extra after I played the very good singleplayer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Singleplayer = Very Good. I'm selfish. I wanna be the one thats special! I want all the attention <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

The best thing maybe imo, would be like first create a great single-player only game. Then if it were succesfull they could make an multiplayer edition if possible?

I remember that when Warren Spector made Deus Ex 1 SP only, thousand of people complained. Then Ion Storm added a multiplayer mode in the upcoming patch. A dozen or so people played...
