We noticed a couple things that slipped through the net when releasing our latest patch. Since they were easy to fix and won’t affect your savegames, we didn’t want to delay these fixes until the next patch. So behold, a hotfix!
  • Fixed Tutorial Treasure
  • Fixed outlines of characters after they were transformed to any other state
  • Fixed equipment being invisible for characters that were out of sight
  • Fixed armor potions and statuses like Fortified and Magic Shell giving less armor than they should
  • Fixed several issues in new character creation screen:
    • Fixed tags not showing up for the first custom character
    • Fixed issue with talents resetting when changing a civil ability
    • Fixed issue with portrait renderer not removing the helmets
    • Fixed issue with talent requirements appearing in red even though the character had the ability
    • Fixed issue with stats not properly resetting when reconnecting to character creation
    • Fixed a possible crash in character creation when going back to main menu

Savegames are compatible with v3.0.76.796.

Thank you so much for the hot fix! It sucks to not be able to use fortify/ frost armor. Now I can enjoy the game!

Minor bug, some talents not working as described / flat out not working. Far Out Man currently doesn't work at all and this may or may not be a bug but Walk it Off doesn't reduce 1 turn effects (going by its description, it should).

I have noticed a few bugs still presist. such as sometimes a character freezes 9not status effect) and wont move unless you save and relaod. also why are the blood roses named 'rose' and not blood rose?"

The blood rose is still called blood rose. Most of them were replaced with standard roses though.

Looking forward to it, sadly I've got to download the entire game (8gb) again off gog... really getting tired of this. The 100mb patch says my current version isn't supported. frown

Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?

Also the issue with the spells. some of them 'stick" when I click a spell and go to cast it, the spell won't cast and it will be stuck on the part where it shows the meters on the mouse? and it won't get off that. if you're playing multiplayer and it happens to someone that's not the host you have to switch characters for it to fix. if you are the host, I found moving the mouse to the bottom left and clicking the escape/options button sometimes work. but not always. might wanna look into it.

Another question, are we also going to have Imp and orc races to play with? i would very much LOVE to be able to maybe even a demon race?

Quick feedback on the latest patch. Being able to chat with companions changed the game completely. It became really interesting, ai love it. The dialogs are great. Very good job Larian. The only thing about the chatter I can think of is that I miss a littlebit of a banter between the characters(they do speak to you but never between themselves really). I miss the old banters from BG where the characters were arguing, praising each other and even fighting. I do appreciate the variety with my own character now but still during the campain it would be nice to see some more chatter between NPC.
I am also hoping for more summons as I loved all those creatures from Divinity OS like the spider, skeletons and elementals. The imp is not really what I thaught it will be for a summon 'specialist'. A golem would be more suitable perhaps? Anyway great job Larian. Thank you very much. I am super eager to see the full game as the undead race is something new and definitely awesome. I'm also awaiting the voice acting.

I've been asking for the hell spikes spell (from Divine Divinity) and we still don't have that spell. It was my favorite, used to cause slowness to characters in Divine Divinity. The sound effects were cool too.

Game crashed when using the holy hand grenade against the crocodiles.
Other than that, however, the prologue is a blast - love the giant monsters.

yeah, they said that there will be one more major update until realease (it will not include remaining origin chars though)

AFAIK it is looking like there may not be another update, in favour of focusing on finishing the game.
