Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General What is the current "end point" of the Alpha?

I keep having a failure to load the game after "returning" from a "special place" while on the ship.

It plays the boat navigation animation and then attempts to load the coastal area, and then crashes to Main Menue every time.


Is this a bug, or is this as far as the story will progress at this current stage of alpha?

There is no next coastal area in Early Access, the ship section is the end of act 1, which is all that will be in Early Access.
There will be one more major update before the full release, which will add some content to act 1, but acts 2 and 3 will not be available until release.
