is there a way to turn this ridiculousness off. the whole every time i acquire an item it gets tossed to the skill bar is driving me nuts.

... and yes i have the bar locked

also i was curious as to why we have 125 skill slots. with this new memory system, seems we will only need a few. ideas?

ive rebound my next hotbar keys and dont work. havent tried default.

There isn't a way to turn it off, but you CAN unlock your skillbar and remove things form it, then relock it.

As for the unrelated '125 skill slots', I'm pretty sure you gain memory slots every few levels even without memory investment, and memory investment is a 1/1 thing for stat per slot, so between items, equipment, powers gained by using OTHER spells (The ram horn thingy and flying, for example) you're likely to use up a good few by mid game.

seems the "lock" is broken. unwanted stuff can go in but not out. hmmm...

The hotkeys for switching skillbars do not currently work with the updated UI. You need to use the arrow buttons to the immediate left of the first skillbar slot (usually the 'Basic Attack').

You should be able to drag items off the skillbar if it is unlocked (open lock icon); left click the lock button ('Unlock Skillbar' tooltip) to the left of the next/previous arrow buttons.
