As seen on their latest twitch livestream, Fane (the origin story undead) has the same racial bonus as a human undead (+2 wits and +3% crit) even though he's supposed to be from an ancient extinct race of people. It would be better if he had a different Stat boost to reflect this.

yeah but what would you give an undead,undead... he was basically born an undead lived his live as an undead and is still undead.. undead already have their own traits.. so i mean..

As I've commented in other threads, if you look at the undead reveal livestream, there are no more racial bonuses*. Fane does not have +2 wits in that stream at level 1.

This stream starts with higher level characters, so most likely those +2 wits were a manual investment.
