There is a thread around here or on reddit that has screen shots of all the ability icons, it doesn't tell you much but some are very similar to DOS1 EE abilities.
There are also a lot of abilities in game that players don't have access to...yet. Thick of the fight, mending, tornado, Frost Shard, Wind Walking, meteor shower, evaporation. There are roughly 220+ skills in the release version. If you want to do something because you are bored choose a skill set that you haven't used before and force your self to make that your primary school of skills. You will learn a lot about its strengths and weaknesses. I recently found out that the tankiest/most survival character I've ever built by using this process. Fights were many turns long, but because i was soloing each turn was super short so it evened out.
