I was able to complete it before last patch, I restarted the game with the new patch and got to the point where you need to repair the door lever. I insert the lever-piece you need into the thing in the wall, the crafting menu said I crafted a "?", and then nothing happens. The quest can't proceed because the door doesn't open.

Edit: Odd, tried with my own character, with Fane, with Lohse -- didn't work. But it worked with Beast. Definitely something fishy going on under the hood.

You need to activate the Spirit viewing mode to interact with the guardian of the tomb, he opens the door for you.
