As someone who chose Fane as their character, it's kind of weird seeing literally everyone else but not my character. It's like he's an afterthought.

I think they did that because he was a surprise. They didn't want to ruin the surprise, but they also wanted everyone to enjoy the beta and alpha so they could get feedback. I think he was the most specialized character in the game honestly.

Obviously he just ripped one of their faces off and is currently wearing it.

If he was an aftertought he wouldn't be the collector figure of the game. (It's an awesome figure but it could have been Beast!)




... But more seriously ; maybe you're right.
In the artbook, you can see 2 pages for each Origin character. On the first page, you see the artwork used in game. (ex here for Ifan)

But Fane doesn't have one. He have two pages, but the artwork on the first page is just the different faces of the Shape-shifting mask (that you can see here on the box on the bottom left)

So maybe you're both right?
Fane was made last as a surprise, but it was too late, the promotional artworks were already done by the time and they couldn't include him for launch maybe?

Pretty much the entire CE features Fane's different aspects though, unless I'm misunderstanding.

On the CE box we can see the 4 faces of the shape shifting mask and 4 different faces with glowy eyes who maybe are just 4 perceived faces of the shape shifting mask?

What are you talking about, one of the guys on picture is Fane... ^^

I was wondering why he's not included in the game's main splash image.

Fane is #1 in my merry band of adventurers, some fan made Fane/Sebille/RP art would be amazing (seriously, I would commision a party comp of that + my PC if someone is willing) lol.
