Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Rivellon info and questions?

To me the world of the game is important along with the history of it. I haven't had much of chance to read the ingame books and is based from Dragon Commander (if the events from there still count)

- How did the lizards go from a republic to an empire? (it's not unexpected that they did but what events took place)
- When did the lizards get pro slavery?
- 2 Nations (Undead and Imps) what happened to them in that time?

Does anyone know these answers?

Without spoiling the story, (and I havent played Dragon Commander, so cant say what has been changed and what has not) but it seems that everything outside of DOS1 and DOS2 is non canon

Thousands of years have passed since Dragon Commander.
So everything that happened there is ancient history in Original Sin 2.
The Imps still exist but are simply far away from the area the game is set in.
I doubt in the curret time the undead are still accepted as a race, since Divine took over the human world. Or they were enslaved by the Black Ring.
