only put spoiler in the title in case people weren't aware that respec was an option at the end of act 1 or something. you can never be too sure

this is a very small but kind of annoying thing that occurs when you try to respec a companion. as soon as you change literally anything (i'm not even sure if you need to change anything, simply opening the respec page seems to do this) their portrait is changed to that of a custom character rather than the original character's original portrait. i suspect the reason this happens is because origin characters (except the red prince i guess?) have unique faces and portraits that cannot be replicated in the character creation page, so opening the respec page for them treats them as custom characters

either way it'd be nice if this only happened if i actually changed something about their appearances, instead of it being triggered by my simply opening the respec page and then exiting it to find beast's face has become 10x more horrifying

yeah noticed it too. half-seriously - maybe it's the price for respecking they wanted the players to pay (since otherwise there isn't any). although it definitely doesn't look like a well thought through design decision in that case.
