Hi, I'm quite sure it comes from the original text for a log.
Log is translated to "journal" in french.

But this log is not a diary , but a piece of wood. It should be translated as "bûche" or something similar.

The first time I spotted this in fort joy I really was puzzled : was it the image of the diary which was wrong, or the item name which was.

Now I'm still noticing it... I mean, it should have been seen long before, no?
