Salutations

I attempted to save High Judge Orivand's prisoner by positioning my mage at the alter near the door and teleporting her outside the room.
She just casually walk back while combat is ongoing and turns into a Silent Monk.

Is this intended?

Great game btw. I'm on my 3rd playthrough, and my studies are suffering

I imagine that's all the behavior that was scripted for her, because they either didn't take that possibility into consideration, or they didn't want to add more behavior for her.

Yeah, as Stabbey said, it seems to be intentional: it was possible to rescue her in one of the earlier alphas by teleporting her away from Orivand but they seem to have "fixed" that particular outcome.

Edit: and there was no other dialogue, she was just a random NPC with nothing to say. Still better than the scripted outcome IMHO, but I guess the scripted outcome is the whole point of the encounter.
