I am working on a water-centric level, but as of now, a Molotov will burn on top of the water. I've loaded existing Larian-made levels to compare, and even after matching the settings nothing changes.

EDIT: Figured it out. It was an AI grid thing involving blocking projectiles.

I would actually like to know what you did here because I can't get the block projectiles thing to work. In the places that I had to paint water, I can't paint the "block projectiles" thing. How was this done?

Does anyone have an answer to this other than "block projectiles"?

try changing the plane to waddable maybe there is somthing in that variable that kills fire.

Indeed: don't paint water. Instead use a wadable water plane. The AI grid will automatically block surfaces below them.
