Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Help/Tips/Tricks Help with Ifan Romance ending

I've romanced Ifan and we are at the end. I agreed with him that no one should be divine and I let him kill Lucian. At the end dialogue no matter what option I pick Ifan is killed and the journal says he wasn't swayed by Lucian's words and was killed. What am I doing wrong?

The only thing I can think of is that Ifan was dead. Any dead companions don't resurrect if the final battle is over, so do all resurrections before the final blow.
