Maybe it would be easier if your source points can just restore to full when you enter Meistr Siva's vault and interact with the source fountain in Driftwood. It got a bit repetitive after you gotta keep clicking it over and over again...

I agree. It'd be much nicer if it worked like the bedroll and just insta-replenished all the source for everybody in the vicinity.

all the source fountains should probably do this. i don't see what clicking three times adds to the game

That's a great idea.

Bedroll resting restoring SP sounds wonderful.

That wasn't quite what I had in mind! But not having to manoeuvre your various characters around the source vat up to a dozen times to replenish them would be nice.

Looking back, yeah, I misunderstood.

My idea is better. smile

The bedroll idea would indeed make restoring source points a lot easier.

Also, it would be a lot easier if, after each battle, your source points would go back to how they were before you have entered the battle. For example, if I had 2 source points before a battle and I spent them all during the battle, I would still have 2 source points after the battle.

Isn't source supposed to be rare, with a limited amount of it in the world? The fountains should run dry in order to discourage people from abusing endless source combos every fight. Vampirism is enough.

I don't think people really need any more discouragement than the inconvenience; beyond that it's an RP choice, and it's all about choice. In the case of vampirism I'd always make the choice to not use it, so not having an alternative would be somewhat inconvenient.

I also don't see what point it serves, but I'm also at the point where restoring your source after every fight, using source vampirism, wait for cooldown, do it again etc, annoys me just as much, even on a Lone Wolf team.

tbh larian needs to get their shit together and make more worthwhile source skills because a lot of them are awful.

A few bedroll source regen mods out there, there is also another that is based on time, sounded interesting.

In Act 2 I got into the habit of using Source in battles whenever it seemed convenient. That completely stopped in Act 3 and Act 4 due entirely to the lack of a Source Fountain.

Doesn't Act 4 have a source fountain?

I typically just used source vampirism if I wanted to prep for a big source skill, but boy, did I hate the enemies that also had source vampirism.

If it does I'd love to know about it, because I haven't seen one yet, and I've just completed the sewers.

You could argue the 30+ corpses by the Arx waypoint are a source fountain (depending on your point of view of course).

In any case source in source fountains has to come from somewhere presumably before it is stuck in the bottle. Don't ask, don't tell perhaps.

I just suck it up from anything that happens to be around...

And yes there is a proper source fountain in Act 4 - it is next to where you find Arhu the ex-cat in Kemm's basement but it is a bit late on to be useful.

Well, I'm roleplaying a "good" character, and I'm a little fuzzy on what is and isn't considered a non-evil use of Source Vampirism. I've heard that vamping ghosts is a fast path to evil (for reasons which remain unclear to me even after the end of Act 3), and I've decided that using it to re-steal back a Source point stolen from you is okay. I guess corpses are okay too since it's either that or souls to
charge the Source Amulet

I would say "spoiler" alert about the Arhu thing, but fortunately after interrogating the last prisoner in the Magister's basement and talking with a few people, like Kemm's kids, I pretty much guessed that was the case already.
