Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 - The Modding Dungeon Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Modding Troubleshooting New modder, really need help

So I just got into modding and I've taken hours trying to get this to work. I've uploaded my custom icon in the atlas, made a GUI folder, and placed the resulting icon in the GUI folder. I've tried everything. I assigned the icon to the skill (I'm pretty sure) and it always results in a mystery mark icon. It says it cannot assign the icon to the skill. Please help!

I'm having exactly the same issue though I'm not sure if we are following the same steps. You may want to update your post title so it is more descriptive (ie. 'issue with skill icons').

I feel like I'm probably doing something wrong in creating the package in the Resource Editor before creating my icon atlas.
