This is currently broken. While it is true that Lucky Charm does now apply to the entire party, the problem is the game doesn't consider multiplayer characters (or their henchmen) to be part of the same party.

Thus, in multiplayer games only one player (the one with Lucky Charm) still needs to loot everything. Looting done by other players (and their henchmen) will not count towards or trigger the Lucky Charm talent of other players.

This same not-really-a-party nonsense is probably related to the issue where NPC reputation modifier rewards aren't shared across a multiplayer "party" either - an issue which has been brought up on these forums a number of times now with no resolution despite several patches.

This is probably intended. In multiplayer games you compete with other players since only one of you may become god. It makes sense that your skill does not benefit possible competitors

But in the core of the issue it is a coop-game. Competative should be an add, an additional possibility but not the core. That is why I said, their try to include competative gameplay heavily hurt the cooperative gameplay, pretty much killed it, you could say.

You could technically say that about the companions, couldn't you? They're chosen by their own gods as well, but in singleplayer, sharing civil abilities/experience/attitude gains works as expected.

Correct. It only works for a player who controls a character with points in Lucky Charm.

Which just shows, how much the coop-gameplay suffered thanks to the competative s**t-stuff.

Bit of a shameless self-promotion here, but if you're interested in using mods, my Civil Auras mod is still able to share Lucky Charm with the whole party. It shares it outside of combat, when the aura is on.

You can share Barter, Persuasion, and Sneaking too with CA.
