Heya!

So for my current GM map I wanted to create a downhill river that originated from a waterfall. I realised how tedious a waterfall is to make (unless you use the presets, but thats not quite what I had in mind) so I dropped that idea.

However, Im already stuck on making the river flow nicely. I experimented with combining river planes, but what I keep running into is that the planes at some point overlap, and make really ugly lines on top of eachother. Now I could solve this by dumping a buttload of rocks in the water and animations at that point, but I was wondering whether there is a better way to make water curve or combine water areas.

Not that I know of, I place rocks, bridges and other debris to mask it. Larian does this too I noticed in the original maps. Makes small drops/waterfalls. You will have the same issues when making a river that bends.

I had the same problem and solved it by putting a bridge over it and a ford at two seperate places where the river teared.
