Hey,

I'm working on a very large map and trying to get the minimap and the large map of the level to behave the way i want it to.

I have three regions on my terrain and I want only the region the player is in to show on the minimap and the large map. How do i do this?
I know how to make the map when i just want the whole level and I thought i had it figured out with the region thing aswell.

I thought a region trigger would solve the problem or a cull trigger.
I've placed a trigger around each of the regions and had hoped the minimap would lock in place to that specific region when the player entered.
If that is how i should work, then I need some explaning to get this right.
Is there a differance testing the map in the editor or ingame? in regards to the minimap?
I'm gratefull for any answers.

Hey,

You will indeed need to use region triggers. The mini map will only show what's inside the region trigger that the player is in. In general it is advised to use 1 region trigger per terrain since they provide a hard cut off.
