When I brought a water bottle and a mug of water to the weak prisoner near the beginning of the game, he did not recognize that I had them. I went and got another bottle and mug from the kitchen and I was finally able to give them to him. This worked fine the first time in the demo...

Are you sure you solved the quest in the demo without the bottle of water from the kitchen? I'm pretty sure that was required then, as well.

Not a bug, the prisoner is just very picky when it comes to water bottles...

Raze: IIRC, I only brought him a mug of water in the demo and he accepted it right away.
