When you combine a campfire with a pot you get a campfire station where you can cook things. The fire is on. If you click again on the Campfirestation the fire will go out but you can still cook/craft new food. Every time you click on the campfirestation the fire is on/off/on/off/on/off and so on. Its not gamebreaking but immersionbreaking. Just let the fire on when the Campfirestation is crafted.

It is by design that interacting with fires toggles them off and on. Having to manually light a fire to craft could be annoying; I'm not sure if automatically doing so would make much of a difference in terms of immersion (the cooking process is already abstracted by a progress bar).

The abstracted process bar for cooking is ok. But cooking without fire? Thats definetely immersionbreaking. Im not sure but this could be solved with a simple IF ELSE query.

That depends on how hot the ashes, unburnt wood and rocks are.
I'll bring this up with the design team.
