Hi all am new here and am looking to buy divine devinity however.... i really really want to know if i can play it over tcp/ip or lan? or if its just a single player game??? i hope its multiplayer

Hello, and welcome. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Sorry, it's Singleplayer. Don't expect everything to be Multiplayer nowwadays; only because there are some games enormous successful with that and a greater mass of people demanmding MP doesn't bnecessarily mean it will be implemented. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> 2 ist said to get Multiplayer Mode. But that will be some time until the release. Alrik.

compare it to half life and half life opposing force. Same universe / same engine (upgraded) but not the sequel half life 2 that hopefully comes out one day.

Yeah, it ties in. It's has the same universe, races and factions. The story relates to the first one but doesn't affect it at all, so it's a spinoff, not a sequal. And it's just as addictive as Divine Divinity. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />
