When playing tabletop D&D, you have access to the books to plan out what character you want to play. A lot of character creation is planning how you expect your character to grow.

BG3 is missing access to information about how your character may develop. For example, when planning my fighter, I can’t see what I can look forward to in the pipeline. When my Base attack bonus increases or what subclasses offer ahead of time. If I want to make an Eldritch Knight, I have to be familiar with D&D to know what stats to choose. I can’t learn from in game what stats I should choose or what abilities my EK might gain access to. Or even a simple description if the goal is to avoid spoilers.

Just a thought.

good idea, especially as players may not be able to rely on actual D&D sources due to the various changes across everything
