Just noticed my familiar (Quasit) doing low damage (in this case 1), even though its rolling 2d4 against a creature with no resistances. feel like either im missing something or the game is...

Are the familiars also meant to expire after a certain time? Mine seemed to disappear too quickly, I thought you were supposed to be able to always have one.

they do seem to disappear yes, though ive never actually seen it happen...just suddenly notice theyre gone.

imp poison is scaled back too but I figured that was to help balance them ...
