Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Suggestions & Feedback Successful Death saving throws don't seem to work

I had multiple party memebers get incapacitated. They started rolling their death saves, and got 3 successful rolls quite quickly. But after the bar filled up with success, it just reset and they didn't get revived on their own. I'm assuming that's a bug at the moment? As the only way I can pick up my party memebers is to use up my action point to save them (only to be one hit again before they get a chance to move haha).

Failed death throws seem to work just fine though, instantly killing them when it reaches 3, so that part is not an issue heh.

Three successful death saving throws just mean that the character stablizes and is not in danger of immediately dying. They remain unconscious. That's the tabletop 5e rules. They need to roll a natural 20 on a death saving throw to regain 1 hit point on their own, waking them up. If, however, the successes reset and they keep rolling until they reach three failures, that's a bug.

Use the Help action on them, gives 1 HP on downed characters.
