I'm playing a wizard and I found out that I was able to change my prepared spells on the fly. This is most likely just a bug, but I thought it was worth mentioning it just in case.

I have not tried this in combat.
This might ring true for clerics too, but I have not tested that yet.

It is also true for clerics, and you can't change prepared spells in combat.
I imagine this is either an intended adaptation in bringing D&D to a computer game, or implementing it so you can only change prepared spells on long rest is a mechanic they haven't prioritised for this stage.


Anything you can do, a bard can do better.

I think they allowed it during early access so people can try spells without bothering much. It saves time to narrow down problems with spell animations, effects and so forth.

That makes a lot of sense actually. I'll just try not to do it myself.
