I had almost the same problem. Only Mirkon appeared to be spamming the written dialog. I could right-click on him and select talk, but it wouldn't do anything. I could not selected talk for Mol. If I made the companion move away, the spamming stopped, but as soon as I clicked on my main, it came flying right back.
