It might be a good idea before the game's released to make it so that if you play the evil route, you can't be placed inside the Goblin Camp loading back into the world after you take your long rest from attacking the Druid's Grove.

[SPOILERS BELOW]

What with the whole "you're supposed to be dead, go to Moonrise Towers to commune with the Absolute, and do not return to the Goblin Camp." BAM, suddenly in the middle of a town that wants to kill me because I needed to sell some stuff before calling the night.

That is a very good point!

What is the problem you are solving? Does your proposed change solve the problem? Is your change feasible? What else will be affected by your change? Will your change impact revenue? Does your change align with the goals and strategies of the organizations (Larian, WotC)?

Yeah that whole...scenario is stupid. Like what? We side with them and now they're hostile? That whole evil side of the story just seems...incomplete and nonsense atm.

+1

Did the same thing too first time, and got insta murdered lol. I'd have had to reload before a fighting retreat out of the grove that took me like an hour and a half the first time. So I just ditched the toon and started a new game. I'd suggest that the be party returned to a waypoint instead of the Goblin camp, if that's where they fast travelled from to get to camp

Haha serves you right for siding with that dimm-witted bunch! wink

Maybe it's just to emphasize how currently this seems a very counter productive way for the character of any alignment.

I agree however they should at least move you to the nearest waypoint after resting.

Ah, that's why they attacked me in the goblin camp when I returned.

I thought it was because I killed Minthara while attacking the grove XD

Oh god this whole time I thought it was a bug that suddenly the whole camp turned on me (even in the playthrough in which I sided with them). Good to know it's not.

Imma be real with you, it hurt me emotionally to hurt the tieflings in that playthrough. It was like "no, I wish I could have warned them and gotten them out so just the druids suffered the consequences." I started by throwing their leader and the guards off the wall into the goblin horde, then just sniped at them from the wall while the goblins mobbed and cornered them. I don't think they ever even got a hit off on the horde. (Though the leader did hit Shadowheart once with something ranged and fiery.)

My thoughts exactly. The way the party largely ignores you siding with the Absolute and getting their mark just seems weird.

Necromancy is just recycling...
