Just started a (shield) dwarf character and noticed pretty quickly that ranged attacks aren't working against me. I opened the combat log and it's saying stuff like "Imp used Firebolt" and then there is no log roll to hit or for damage, but the animation and spell played as if it hit. No damage is done. This is repeatable through the tutorial with any of the imps that shoot you with crossbows or use ranged spells against you.
