Hi to all !
Once again, I need advise to defeat another foe....MORIENDOR !
I've read somewhere in the forums that Josephine is the toughest opponent but I believe not.
Moriendor is level 49 ! Has four thousand hit points (yes ! 4000 !) does lots of damage, uses hell spikes, freezes you.....
How the hell I'm suppose to beat that guy ?
I'm currently level 37 (fighter). I have a great bow & a great sword. Both have a wonderful speed & recuperation rates. Their damage is nice.
I used (as suggested by Raze) STUN of Josephine & it worked. On Moriendor, it seems not as he keeps casting spells on me.
Any tips anyone ???
This a VERY difficult battle & I seriously wonder HOW to beat him ?

try drinking a shadow potion and use hellspikes
or release some scorpions on him

The problem is I have no more skill points to spend & my next level is far away.
I'll check if I don't already have hellspikes or frost. Sometimes you find spell books which teach you magic.
Can you change game difficulty during gameplay ? I might want to lower difficulty settings so beating Moriendor will be easier.
Or boosting difficulty & accept some new quests so I level-up faster & get skill points to spent on hellspikes & frost.
What do you think ?

The most powerful skills for an archer imo are split arrows and poison weapon (survivor skill. Morrie and Josie, both of whom are emotionally stunted, die quickly.
The question is not, Can they reason? nor, Can they talk? but, Can they suffer? ~Jeremy Bentham

Yes, you can change the difficulty setting at any time during the game!

If you drink a shadow potion and use your spin attack near (but not directly on) a creature, you will hit it without turning visible. Check for other spells you might want to try first, as this will make the fight very easy.

After getting my ass kicked a bunch of times, I found a quick and easy way of dispatching the bastard. Level 1, Polymorph Spell... I turned him into a frog and then he hopped off and disappeared into a wall. From there he made his way to the axe room where I found him again before he teleported away. Then I was free to kill his minions and collect the items I needed without even breaking a sweat.
