Hello, I'm fairly new to this kind of thing, but I love the game and know some friends who don't play it because of the language barrier. So me and a friend came up with the idea to try and translate the game to our language (Brazilian Portuguese).
So here is our problem. We don't know how.

I came here looking for any tips for us. We really don't know where to even begin to search for a start to such endeavor. I don't know if this is the place to post this, but if anyone can help us, it'd be really appreciated.

There is a loca kit available for D:OS2 DE, with instructions. The files are out of date with the latest game update, but it would be easier than translating from the xml file.

There is at least one current translation project.

Another person is doing a translation for D:OS EE (Um Projeto de Tradução!), and unless I am mixing that poster up with someone else, I think they mentioned wanting to continue with D:OS 2.
