I know that they're supposedly only using PHB, but this is a kind of iconic cantrip that is one of the most used, so it would be a real shame if they didn't include it especially after nerfing flame bolt.

It might please you to know that they've given fire bolt back its d10 damage die as of the recent update.

Still, yes, one would like to hope that the majority of the 'simple' cantrips and spells (pick target -> hit check/saving throw -> deal damage) will make it in even if they're in secondary books - they're easy meat, compared to other things.

I expect 18 meters will be max-range in the game.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes, for some wierd reason the english people of old could not get their heads away from feet.
Sucks if your brain/mind translates anything remotely resembling "meters" into meters.

I wonder if the people of that time constantly got dreams about peoples feet.
