I think it would be a little more realistic if there was a different set of dialog if playing any Githyanki class wen interacting with Lae'zel. It sort of surprised me that she is explaining things to some one of her own race especially after she realized you have not been converted. This could also hold true for when playing a Tiefling as she might be more suspicious seeing that you are in a plane of Hell.
I had the exact same thoughts when I briefly tried an old Githyanki mage. You can tell there is some special lines here and there when you're a Githyanki, but there is no way to tell Lae'zel "relax youngling, I know the protocol as much as you do".
