So my problem is no make or break kinda thing, but it looks so weird seeing 2 rapiers on the back and not on the sides of the hip.
That would look so much better!
Please consider this.

I'll add how weird knives appear in cut scenes, when Astarion ambush the player the knive is in his open palmar.

Ah, I see! I was wondering because I thought it might have auto corrected to a Swedish word, but that's not the case then!

...Pardon me for the off topic tangent OP wink

I might also take the opportunity to add that I also think not having every type of weapon on your back would be nice.

I don't really care that 1H weapons are on our character's back even if it looks a bit strange but the shield and bow/crossbow that dissapear is something that bother me.

I do miss the shield. I don’t know why they removed it. It used to be there.

I personally would rather see 1h weapons sheathed on the side.

I agree with OP. I really don't like 1h weapons sticking to my back, but of course it's not a deal breaker...

We should all just balance our weapons in a stack on top of our heads, as is right and proper.

Nioh 2 a while back added full customization to weapon visibility. You have two melee and two ranged and can freely pick which are visible and which are hidden. The only limitation was which weapon was unsheathed and in use. It's a nice feature that I hope spreads to other games including bg3.

Yeah, The Shield disappearing on the back is kind of a downgrade. Does anyone know why its not showing up? Bug or is it being added later on or its just a feature?

No clue but hopefully the devs read this and make sure it returns.

I honestly dont mind 1h weapons on back ...
It would be nice tho if they get the same threatment as our helm, so we can set them both on back or on hips ...

What i really mind are dissapearing shields. frown

I liked original spellcasting system more ... frown

Anyway ... i cast Eldritch Blast!

+1 pretty much to everyone.

1h weapons on the back are silly, and so is the shield disappearing.

I mean, Pathfinder: Kingmaker was able to show each type of equipment in the right place with a fraction of this game budget, I'm sure BG3 can do it too.
