Finished my four Wizard no long rest play through.
By the time I had finished Auntie Ethel the party only had two first level spells available between them.
Did the entire goblin camp with Firebolt, Scrolls and 2 magic missiles.
This playthrough was tougher than the Warlock/Rogue playthrough as 4 Firebolts do less damage on average than 1 Eldritch blast and 3 attacks from a rogue.
Bought every scroll from every vendor and used all of them.
As you might suspect, for tougher combats when all the Wizards used their actual spells to take down monsters, the Wizards were OP.
The downside of doing these no long rest playthroughs is that when I play multiplayer with friends, long rests feel like I'm cheating.
Personally I think 2 long rests per playthrough is the sweet spot. Enough that you can recharge your spells for tough combats but not too many that it makes combat trivial.
