Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems The Raid on the Grove wouldn't start leaving me with a softlocked game

I talked to Minthara and arranged for her to raid the grove, planning to betray her. But when I got to the grove after setting up a massive trap, the raid wouldn't start. I hadn't told Zevlor that I had taken care of Kagha so I had to do that first. I tried talking to him again but the raid still didn't happen. I left the grove and come back, still didn't work. I rebooted the game and still nothing. I ended up reloading a save, loosing several hours of progress.

Did you blow the horn?

If you haven't rested or only rested next to Minthara after setting up the arrangement it may just not of set the flag for the raid event yet, I had something like that happen to me. A long rest a bit outside of the grove gates resolved it for me and then triggered the raid happening so I would try that if you haven't.
