Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General BG3 still on Stadia?

Looks like Stadia going down hill. No surprise there. Mismanagement, lawsuits, devs getting fired, poor service...Google is basically slowly ditching the service.
How will this impact BG3 development?

Im really really hoping it doesn't affect anything, I got Stadia just for BG3, as at this moment in my Life I can't purchase a better PC that allows me to run BG3... But yeah, I have been thinking that as well, Stadia is not in a good place.

No surprise there. Google gonna google. For now the most impacted are 1st party games as those were canned. As long as stadia exists (which again Google Gonna Google) 3rd party games should be fine. But, yeah, I would never pay full price to never own, not be able to troubleshoot or mod the game. Stadia would have promise if it was Netflix style rental.

Yeah, I do believe cloud gaming to be the future, but Stadia is a terrible service. I still find it hard to believe a Google service doesn't have a Search bar. Here's hoping Larian doesn't can the Stadia's BG3

Hopping Larian isnt getting slowed down by that Stadia mess...I mean, how does that work? Develop for Stadia and you get a big pay check from google??

I expect it's 'when' not 'if' Google shuts stadia down, regardless of Larian's intentions.
