Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Can't create a druid, no option in character creation

Well the title says it all pretty much, under the class tab I only have the 6 option from the earlier patches. And yes, I have downloaded the patch. In fact I have to date:
1: downloaded the patch
2: verified the files
3: made sure all mods were disabled
4: made a new profile and tried to start a new game (still no druid option)
5: uninstalled the game
6: deleted the BG3 file in the documents folder
7: reinstalled the game
8: made a new profile in a fresh install
9: still can't make a druid

I'm kind of hoping that I'm missing the obvious here and there is something that I'm overlooking, but as of now with v. 4.1.99.983 completely un-modded I cannot make a druid. I'm a sad non-panda...

Someone suggested that some mod files were intereferring.

Perhaps delete those files as well

Like I said, I deleted the entire file that contained all the mods. What I ended up doing that finally worked was:
1: uninstall for a second time
2: Delete the Larian Balder's Gate 3 folder in documents that contains all mods etc for a second time (it was empty except for the new profile from the reinstall)
3: Manually deleted all remaining folders and paths for Baldur's Gate 3 in Steam
4: Reinstalled the game
5: play the game- now with druids
