Picture the scene. You sneak up to a cliff behind a goblin; who is unawares that he is about to plunge to his death. You click shove but the game is telling you that your companion is in the way. That's fine, you click your companion to move them out of the way and suddenly they are no longer in the way... because they have been shoved off the cliff instead.

They deserve it! It's their fault!

Humor aside, I agree. That is an unanticipated consequence of their new 'click portrait to target' functionality.

Sigh. First they take away my ability to drop my spider on Asterion, squishing him

Now you want to take away my ability to shove Asterion off a cliff just by clicking on his picture.

Next you will want to take away my ability to strand Asterion in the middle of a river, slowing dying.
