This game was fun until Chapter II when I hit some frogs and a tibar while running. Now I'm constantly attacked by every one of these creatures making it almost impossible to fight any tactical battles due to the interference from these creatures. This sure drained the fun from my game.

Is there any way to reset the creatures to peaceful mode? Please tell me there is. I don't want to have to start the game again.

that happened to me 5 times. all times after 30 minutes of playing; no saves. it sucks, I know. but now, almost NO Tibar left so none to worry about. lightnight shaman magic level 2.

Oh Well - Guess I'll try to carry on and wipe them out. This has got to be the most aggravating 'feature' I've ever seen in an RPG. Other than this problem the game is great.

When this happened to me in chapter 2 I put my Death Knight on agressive mode and just went about my business as he was running all over the place killing floogfrogs? and tibur.

I think there's another post like this on the forum, but there are some things you could try to prevent this happening:

1. Walk around in peaceful mode
2. Keep the mouse button pressed to walk instead of clicking
3. Don't equip a weapon til you need one

Those'll keep this from happening.

I think it's worth mentioning to Tempus that they'll only stay aggressive during the current act - once he reach Act 3 they'll be peaceful again (isn't that correct? Haven't tried, I always reload when this happens).

Other than that I totally agree - that was a stupid feature to put in the game...

I have to disagree. I've been running around killing all of these animals voluntarily. Sure it adds a challenge, but why not, right?

Thanks for the suggestions folks. I'm slogging through and looking forward to Act III when I will learn to sheath my weapon.

thanks, Morbo - now I know the name for the last DK I killed => Dorbo (as Derrick and Debbie are already used, D'Lar, DorkTong, Dyann and Dris have been buried under a nice tombstone => "Kiya was here")
