Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Suggestions & Feedback Over the shoulder camera and WASD character controls option?

So I was playing the other day and I tried zooming my camera all the way as close as I could get it and tried using playing and moving just in that view.
I have to say it was pretty fun. It made the game almost like first person, the world seemed bigger and things felt more personal since I was seeing them from the ground rather than the sky like some dice god.

Can a simple feature be allowed so we can just toggle this in person view and controls?

It already works, doesn´t it? I also like to play that way. Especially oiutside of combat. Just traversing an area works well enough with an occasional click somewhere down the road. Meanwhile you can follow your character from close by and admire the scenery (or Tav´s behind).

Perhaps for exploration... but I don't think either that view or movement would be an enjoyable fit with the combat.
